Triphenylphosphine-1,4-Benzoquinone Adduct (TPP-BQ)
Triphenylphosphine-1,4-Benzoquinone Adduct (TPP-BQ) is an organic compound with the molecular formula C24H20O2P, also known as triphenylphosphine-1, 4-benzoquinone complex, CAS No.5405-63-0. It is a yellow to brown powder at room temperature, with relative stability and heat resistance while unstable and susceptible to air oxidation and decomposition. It is soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, chloroform and dichloromethane. Thanks to the reducibility of triphenylphosphine and the oxidizability of 1,4-benzoquinone, this adduct can perform distinctive catalytic activity for the targeted chemical reactions.
